I was checking out the list of vc funds that were ready for a diverse future. You can find it here. You have to submit your email address (somewhat annoying) and you get access to the list. It was very interesting because the top 3 "most ethnically diverse" funds didn't have a single underrepresented minority. By underrepresented minority, I mean a black or Hispanic person. When we talk about the future of the U.S. being a more brown hue, this mixture comes mainly from the growing populations of black, Hispanic, and multi-racial children. Let's look at firms in regards to these numbers and see what happens! I am excited to see so many women founded and managed companies though. At least this group is making true headway in the space. I am waiting to see the numbers on LGBT founded and managed funds. Blog 4
