So why did I name my blog, "Through the Backdoor Only"? Well to keep it blunt, I wasn't let in to the front door of many places in my career. I've always had to find a backdoor. It kind of reminds me of growth hacking. You have to hustle your way in to any place that you want to be. I didn't initially realize how important hustle, grit, determination, and all the other cliche words were until my teaching experience and until trying to get my foot in to tech and tech investing. Most people feel awkward after sending two emails to a person. I've had to send 4, 5, 6, 10 emails to a person before I could even get a "Let's sit down for coffee" message. It's been a struggle each step of the way and I'm better for it. So this blog is my ode to the backdoor. Many people are too proud to use it, but sometimes, you have to use whatever method you can to break into your future. Blog 2.
